Once again, The Robertson Bereavement Center, a community outreach of Hospice of Medina County and Barberton Hospice & Palliative Care is hosting a unique Grief Kids Camp. The Camp is specially designed for children, ages 6– 3, who have experienced the death of someone close.

The purposed of the Grief Kids Camp are:

• to provide a safe, non-threatening environment for children who have experienced a recent loss through the death of a loved one.

• to help children understand they are not alone and to encourage the development of peer support.

• to help children build new strategies for coping with grief that will help them in years to come.

The Camp is facilitated by qualified professionals. Your child will enjoy art therapy, music therapy, games, and nature walks. Lunch and snacks are provided. There is no charge for this Camp; however, registration is limited.

The five-day Grief Kids Camp is:
