Event Name:	Kids Grief Camp

Description:

Kids Grief Camp is a week-long day camp designed for children, ages 6-13, who have experienced the death of a loved one.

The areas of focus include:
• Provide a safe, non-threatening environment for children who have experienced a recent loss through the death of a loved one.
• Help children understand they are not alone and to encourage the development of peer support.
• Help children build new strategies for coping with grief which will help them in years to come.

Kids Grief Camp is free-of-charge, however, pre-registration by contacting The Robertson Bereavement Center is required by June 4, 2008. This camp is funded in part by a grant from The Welcome Wagon of Medina.
