Families

When someone you love has a serious or terminal illness, it can affect each member of the family in a different way. HMC Hospice of Medina County understands. We know you want the best care for your loved one, helping them to be their most comfortable and still able to enjoy life to their fullest abilities.

Most families want their loved ones at home if possible and yet the illness can cause new sources of stress, worry and fear. Spouses or children may see their role shifting more toward being the primary caregiver – a role they may feel unprepared for.

HMC Hospice of Medina County has the information and assistance you need. We want you to be at ease about the right choice of care for your loved one. This can include HMC BridgesHome Health Care, palliative care for comfort and symptom management, in-home hospice care or advanced symptom management at our beautiful, new Hospice Care Center. You will also find expert emotional support and spiritual care for the entire family, including grief counseling during and after the illness.

Not sure about the right choice for your family? Let’s talk and find the best answers together.
