A Direct Patient Care Volunteer
….interacts directly with the terminally-ill and their families. Volunteers provide caring compassion by holding a hand, playing cards, preparing meals, running errands, staying with the patient so the family can enjoy a well-deserved evening out, or whatever is needed to provide help and support.
An Office Volunteer
….provides invaluable assistance in the Hospice office to give the staff more time to care for patients. Volunteers assemble new patient packets, file, help with mailings, and assist with computer data entry.
A Fundraising Volunteer
…helps plan and assists at our fundraising events. Because Hospice of Medina County is a non-profit organization, fundraising is essential.
