Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are at the very foundation of our organization. More than 30 years ago, a group of compassionate volunteers in and around Medina County who were dedicated to the hospice concept helped to form what would later become Hospice of Medina County.
If you have a compassionate heart for families coping with one of the most difficult challenges of their lives, you may find a great sense of fulfillment in becoming a volunteer at HMC Hospice of Medina County.
Our volunteers provide companionship, a listening ear, relief for caregivers, bereavement support, office support, assistance with fundraising events and more. When you volunteer at HMC Hospice of Medina County, we begin by focusing on you. We take what you do best and give you a new, rewarding avenue in which to use your talents and skills. A comprehensive training program prepares you for your volunteer career. Training is offered two times each year.
You’ll find a variety of opportunities to put your compassion into action as a volunteer. Learn more about which area may best fit your interests. And discover how experiences have touched the lives of our volunteers as they share their stories.
